Created by fashion designers Tom Notte e Bart Vandebosch, Les Hommes is now one of the most interesting menswear’ brand. Through the Les Hommes and Les Hommes Urban brands, the brand propose collections of menswear, jeans wear, accessories and men shoes.
To Piuarch was given the task of express the values and image that characterize the Brand through the design of the space, colors, geometries and quality of materials.
The interpretation of the “contex” in this case means give three-dimensionality to the brand’s style by the usage of the materials. The attention to details typical of the Belgian duo’s work is reflected also in the furniture, thought as volumes compositions of smoked glass, white cloud marble and champagne steel. The combination between simple materials and precious ones creates an effect of structural elegance and chromatic minimalism: marble, champagne coloured glass, galvanized steel and concrete.
The Les Hommes boutique in Milan - the first flagship store of the Belgian brand, in the Porta Nuova area- the port black marble laid out in a herring-bone pattern accompanies the customer through the entrance, over the exposed aggregate concrete floor to graft on to the wall in a sophisticated arch. The flagship store in Antwerpen, bith place of the two designers, the white cloud marble of the walls put side by side with the raw concrete used in the stairs.

Retail Concept
In the interior the transition from the polished marble to an aggregate concrete surface quotes the material juxtaposition of the Belgian duo.
From its large shop window on the pedestrian street Corso Como (Porta Nuova), the shop opens up into a 6.5 metres high space, stretching over 100 mq.
The warm, soft gold hues of the mirrors reflect the symmetrical plasticity and rhythm of the marble triangles.
The flooring clearly highlights the different areas: the port black marble laid out in a herring-bone pattern accompanies the customer through the entrance, over the exposed aggregate concrete floor.
The store is 140 square meter space is a corner building and features a single height space with large display windows on the two front façades.
The look and feel of the space is architectural and warm which offer the visitor visual and tactile sensations by the usage of a variety of textures within a limited colour range.
The combination between simple materials and precious ones creates an effect of structural elegance and chromatic minimalism: like for the white cloud marble of the walls put side by side with the raw concrete used in the stairs.
